Massive collision at the traffic lights in Assemini on the 130: cars destroyed, a truck also involved

A dramatic accident this afternoon, around 5:00 p.m., at the traffic lights on Via Sardegna in Assemini, heading towards Cagliari. For an alleged failure to give way, a vehicle coming from Sestu entered the carriageway to enter Assemini. It is not excluded that it ran the red light or that it became red once it had started driving.

When the light turned green in the direction of Cagliari, 3 other vehicles and a truck collided, for a total of 5 cars involved. A small car even partially overlapped with another. Despite the violent impact, no one was seriously injured .

On site the Fire Brigade, the Local Police and three ambulances. Traffic suffered slight slowdowns in the direction of Cagliari .
