Maria Grazia Salaris is the new deputy mayor of the Municipality of Alghero. Already councilor for Public Education and Social Services, as part of the "Noi con Alghero" group, Salaris takes the place of Giovanna Caria (Forza Italia), whose powers (State Property and Budget) were revoked by Mayor Mario Conoci.

Also outside the council was the blue Antonello Peru, who was in charge of Public Works. The political crisis with Forza Italia is far from being resolved, therefore, since the mayor has opted for a replacement and not a reinstatement.
