The stab wound to the heart was fatal to Marco Mameli, 22, a worker from Ilbono, killed in Bari Sardo last Saturday during the Carnival celebrations.

This is what emerged from the autopsy, concluded late this evening and performed at the Lanusei hospital by forensic doctors Michela Laurenzo and Danilo Fois .

The necropsy report was also attended by the consultant appointed by the victim's family, who relied on the lawyer Gianluigi Mastio and two experts from the scientific police. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon in Ilbono.
