Maracalagonis, flames on the old Sardinian Eastern Highway: motorists raise the alarm

A large fire broke out overnight in an area near the old Orientale Sarda highway in the Maracalagonis area. The fire broke out among the brushwood and quickly spread across a fairly large area.

Passing motorists raised the alarm. The Cagliari Fire Department and volunteer teams responded to the scene.
