Flames raged today in the countryside of Maracalagonis and Sinnai. In Maracalagonis, the fire attacked the stubble-covered fields near the Craboni Park, even approaching some buildings. The prompt intervention of the Barracelli, Masise, and Alpine troops stationed in Sinnai prevented further damage, containing and quickly extinguishing the flames.
Fire also broke out in the countryside along the provincial road connecting Sinnai to Settimo San Pietro. The fire also approached the construction site used to store building materials.
