Urban redevelopment projects continue in Mandas, with new construction sites and strategic projects for the town's future. Mayor Umberto Oppus announced the news, reviewing the works underway and those nearing completion.
The renovation of Largo Lawrence has started in recent days : the official opening of the Locanda Lawrence is also expected by the end of the month, after the connections by Enel and the testing of the lift.
On the mobility front, the city administration is working with ARST on a €1.5 million project to build an intermodal center. The goal is to enhance the train station and transform it into a hub for regional transportation.
These measures complement the extraordinary cleanup operations in the town center , launched following the heavy rains and disasters of recent months. The Municipality also aims to complete the work within ten days. An ordinance has also been announced for Monday requiring the cleanup of private land and uncultivated areas by April 30 , with the aim of improving urban decor and preventing further deterioration.
