Nine years in prison is the sentence imposed by the preliminary hearing judge of Tempio, Federica Di Stefano, on a man held responsible for a rape that occurred in February 2025.
The victim, a 40-year-old woman, was threatened with a knife and then repeatedly raped inside a shack in the woods of Limbara . She was the man's partner, and she required hospitalization.
In addition to the incident that occurred in the hovel on the Limbara River, prosecutor Sara Martino contested a raid on the victim's home, where she and a relative were tied up and threatened.
The woman was forced to flee. The convicted man (defended by criminal lawyer Alberto Sechi) had previously been arrested for violence and abuse committed in Olbia, Aglientu, and Aggius. The investigation was conducted by the Carabinieri of the Tempio Compagnia.
