They were travelling along provincial road 22, between Orgosolo and Mamoiada , when they suddenly lost control of their motorbikes, ending up at the bottom of a slope.

It happened around noon today, but the accident involved a total of four motorcycles driven by a group of Dutch tourists. Somehow, at least one of the motorcyclists managed to climb out of the ravine on his own.

An ambulance and air ambulance responded to the scene to transport one of the injured to the hospital. A firefighter team intervened to secure the vehicles and the roadway.
