The incident occurred on the night of Sunday, September 20, in Porto Torres, where Carabinieri from the mobile radio unit intervened on Via Mazzini following a call to 112. A man, in a state of altercation, had attacked four minors, mistaking them for the people responsible for kicking the shutter and door of his home.
He allegedly first grabbed and pushed them, even slapping them several times. Not content with that, he also stole their purses and cell phones. Subsequently, the young men, taking advantage of a moment of calm in the man's state of mind, managed to escape and alert their parents, who immediately alerted the police.
The officers immediately located the reported individual, who was carrying all the items stolen from the youths. The man, still agitated, was arrested on charges of assault on minors and robbery and transferred to Bancali prison.
