After about six months , trips on the little green train will restart, from Macomer to Tresnuraghes , which were interrupted last May due to a storm that seriously damaged the line.

The green light comes from Arst , and will take place as part of the fifth edition of the literary festival "Io sto con i libri - Canta che ti passa", which will affect the whole month of December and part of next year, with the Pro Loco, the Esedra cooperative, the Maart association, in collaboration with the Municipality and the Region.

What will take place next Sunday is a special journey, " The authors' train ", which consists of a journey along the tourist line between Macomer and Tresnuraghes , in the name of art and readings, in collaboration with the theater company “Il Crucible".

Everything will take place on board the ancient carriage (from 1913), where the travelers will be accompanied by the authors of the books and by the evocative readings of the Il Crogiuolo theater company .

Departure from Macomer station is scheduled for 9.30am on Sunday. The train will cross the territories marked by the ancient pastoral tradition, up to Sindia, where there will be a stop in the Cistercian abbey of Santa Maria di Corte, considered among the oldest in Europe.

We will then continue up to Tinnura, the town of art, thanks to the evocative murals and then up to Tresnuraghes, with a stop for the so-called Panino D'Autore. This is the first appointment of “I'm with books. Canta che ti passa”, which has a busy schedule of appointments.
