The parameters have returned to normal. The water from the Tossilo industrial area's water supply is drinkable again, two months after the mayor's order of December 2nd prohibited its use for drinking purposes. These two months have caused considerable disruption, despite 30 percent of the production activities (almost all agri-food) using water from wells and reservoirs.

The parameters have therefore returned to normal, certified by the Prevention Department of Food Hygiene and Nutrition of the Nuoro Local Health Authority and by Abbanoa . Just yesterday, Mayor Riccardo Uda issued the ordinance revoking the ban on using water from the Tossilo industrial zone's water supply system, which had been in effect since December 2 of last year.

Tossilo is home to a large number of agri-food businesses, such as dairies, butchers, and even food retailers. The parameters had been outside the norm since November, when work was carried out to modify the water supply system . Previously fed by the Monteleone Roccadoria reservoir, for the past three months it has been supplied by water from wells upstream of the town, previously used to bottle mineral water under the Funte Fria brand. The situation has now returned to normal not only in Tossilo, but also in the industrial area of Bonu Trau and the town.
