Ten minutes to tell Macomer and his stories. However, it is also an invitation to slow down the pace, rediscover emotions instead, dedicate yourself to inner well-being, moderating your lifestyle.
"Tea Time", tea time, is also a short film to rediscover the history of the town and promote trade, born from an idea by Marco Benevole (who also directed) and Antonio Raimondi during the Covid years. «Through fashion and beauty - explains Marco Benevole, president of the cultural association Maart Art City - we wanted to tell some important stories of Macomer. We did the first take in the old Albano dairy, in the industrial archaeological area, the second inside the old workshops of the former Complementary Railways and the third shot in Piazza Santa Croce. We talked about what was the main square until the mid-nineteenth century and also the entrance to Macomer."
Other female entrepreneurs then joined the initiative, such as Annamaria Murgia, Stefania Ruiu, Daniela Tondo and Stefania Mura.
Images shot in what are now only ruins, but which represent the entrepreneurial history of the Albano family, which arrived in Macomer at the end of the nineteenth century, up to what the railway was and what the future will be, which however is a story still to be write. The short film, just in time for tea, will be presented tomorrow evening, together with the Spring-Summer collections, at 9.30pm, in the Barbanera premises, in via degli Artigiani.
