Macomer, municipal employee targeted by thieves: two reports filed

In a matter of moments, they stole the personal belongings of a municipal employee, then fled, convinced they could get away with it.

But their attempt to disappear was short-lived: within a few hours, they were located and reported to the police. The incident occurred a few days ago in Macomer and required the intervention of officers from the Macomer Police Station.

The search was initiated by the victim herself, who, upon noticing the theft, immediately alerted law enforcement. From that moment, a rapid investigation began in the area, allowing officers to quickly track down the alleged perpetrators. The two were located shortly thereafter and, during the search, found still in possession of the stolen goods taken from the woman. This crucial piece of evidence allowed them to quickly reconstruct the theft and determine who was responsible.

Following the investigations, both were reported at large : one minor, who was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court, and the other adult, who was reported to the competent ordinary Prosecutor's Office.

The incident confirms how the officers' timely intervention allowed them to identify the alleged perpetrators of the theft and quickly recover the goods stolen from the municipal employee.
