The water supply was once again shut off without warning. In large areas of the town of Macomer there has been no water since eight in the morning. There are many inconveniences, especially in the populous Santa Maria district, but also in the Sertinu area.

A disruption announced only around 10am on the official website of the Municipality, which most citizens do not read, and only talks about via Olbia, via Einaudi and surrounding areas. The taps, however, remained dry throughout the Santa Maria district, the upper part of Bonu Trau and Sertinu. Three populous neighborhoods, which will have to suffer the disruption for the entire day.

A problem that arises as part of the redevelopment works of the city's water network, to put the new pipeline into operation. The intervention of the company that is carrying out the works speaks of suspension of the water supply for the time necessary to carry out the connections, therefore from 8 in the morning until 6pm. There were many protests, also because the interruptions have now become frequent and not all citizens have a water reserve and an autoclave.
