Macomer, a violent fire breaks out in a barn in the Tossilo industrial area.

A violent fire broke out this morning in the industrial area of Tossilo.

For reasons still under investigation, the flames broke out in a barn, next to the biogas plant of the Forma Carni agri-food company, on the right side of the provincial road (formerly Carlo Felice), heading towards Cagliari.

Firefighters and several firefighting teams responded to the scene. A thick column of smoke had already risen in the morning, obscuring the sky. Firefighting operations began immediately to prevent the flames from spreading to the manufacturing companies operating in the area, particularly Forma Carni and the Md. logistics warehouse.
