Carabinieri from the Luras station have executed a precautionary measure against a foreign citizen, illegally residing in Italy, who is under investigation for sexual harassment and assault against a young woman.

The man is accused of repeatedly harassing a young woman working at a shopping mall. According to the investigation, he allegedly waited for the victim at the entrance to her workplace on several occasions, persistently approaching her despite the young woman's clear signs of discomfort. In a more serious incident, the suspect also allegedly touched her private parts.

After the complaint, thanks also to the images from the shopping center's surveillance cameras and the testimonies of some employees, the Carabinieri found confirmation of the incidents reported by the young woman.

Therefore, measures were taken against the man, decided by the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office.
