After the preview on August 25th, enhanced by a meeting with Professor Silvio Garattini, one of Italy's most authoritative pharmacologists and oncologists, Longevity Weeks Costa Smeralda is ready to liven up Porto Cervo.

The calendar of events for the event promoted by the Costa Smeralda Consortium, scheduled from September 25th to October 11th , is packed with events, including the Medical Talks on preventive medicine and clinical research, led by Professor Antonio Desogus, and the 5th edition of the Longevity Fest Costa Smeralda, conceived and directed by Pietro Mereu and taking place on October 3rd and 4th. On this occasion, the famous photographer Steve McCurry will receive the Longevity Award Costa Smeralda.

There are a wealth of events: sporting competitions of all kinds open to the public, according to a plan orchestrated by Sports Project Manager Sandro Salerno, educational meetings with a series of in-depth discussions by experts from around the world , and an event on October 7th dedicated to the relationship between investments and longevity , to reflect on how the wellness economy can become a driver for the development of Italian regional systems. Slow Food Gallura will also be entertaining the public on October 10th with moments of sharing and tasting dedicated to the relationship between nutrition and long life.

Developed in synergy with Smeralda Holding, the new Longevity Weeks Costa Smeralda format represents a part of the strategy aimed at expanding the destination's seasonality , transforming the months of September and October into a period of strong attractiveness.
