Three people, nomads of Serbian origin, were arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of having entered a villa in the hamlet of La Sarra, a few kilometers from Loiri Porto San Paolo .

According to the Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office, the three, after having seized jewels and other valuables, were discovered and attempted to escape into the open countryside.

One of the alleged perpetrators of the theft was found in a bramble bush with multiple fractures and is hospitalized in Olbia, under guard by the Carabinieri . The man may have fallen heavily while running away.

The three appeared this morning before Tempio Tribunal Judge Tommaso Andorlini. The arrested individuals, represented by lawyer Paolo Spano, all come from a Roma camp in Sassari.
