The Regional Administrative Court (TAR) has rejected the appointment of local health authorities (ASL) commissioners approved by the Todde administration last April. Specifically, today it ruled on the appeal of the former general director of the Sassari ASL, Flavio Sensi, who, after being dismissed before his contract expired, had decided to seek reinstatement through the administrative courts. The TAR upheld the appeal and annulled the contested decisions, namely the council's resolution of April 27, pursuant to which Sensi had been dismissed from his position as general director to make way for the special commissioner.
Meanwhile, the other dismissed directors have decided to appeal to Sergio Mattarella. Six of them have filed an extraordinary appeal with the President of the Republic against "the selection process for the selection of suitable candidates for the appointment" of healthcare company managers, announced in September 2025. The Todde administration used this process to select the new directors of the companies, leaving the three local health authorities (ASLs) of Cagliari, Sassari, and Olbia uninformed.
Returning to Sensi, it should be remembered that the manager was officially appointed in recent days to lead Multiss in Sassari, where he could decide to stay
