For the first time, rescue dogs are arriving on the beaches of Olbia: starting on June 17, the experimental project promoted by the Scuola unità cinofila salvo marino (Marine Rescue Dog Unit School), created in collaboration with the commissioner for Sardinia of Ucsn, Fabio Sarais, and the national instructor, Marco de Nicolo.
In the Kaibeach concessions of Pittulongu and Sunset Beach on Marinella beach, there will be lifeguard dogs to support the active rescue service .
A valuable aid in the event of rescuing people in danger of drowning or in the recovery of inflatables with children on board, dogs also help to ensure psychological support, facilitating rescue operations.
