Double life-saving flight for an Air Force Falcon 900.
After taking off from Cagliari, he landed at Rome's Ciampino airport where he transported a 4-day-old baby girl , transferred from the "Duilio Casula" Hospital to the Bambin Gesù Hospital in Rome, accompanied by her parents and health personnel.
After landing, the crew of the 31st Stormo received a second mission order for a transfer requested to the Prefecture of Catania by the "G.Rodolico -San Marco" University Hospital for the transfer of a six-month-old baby who also needed care for the Child Jesus.
The requests were managed and coordinated by the Top Situation Room of the Air Squad Command , the Air Force operations room which also has among its functions that of arranging and managing this type of mission in favor of citizens.
