There are those who have donated significant sums, but also those who have made available the little they could. Someone instead has decided to donate building materials, many bricklayers instead have offered their work for free. In Laconi, generosity is not lacking.

The small traders of the Sarcidano village and several local entrepreneurs have joined together to “gift” the community, and the territory, a landing platform for the helicopter rescue. They have spontaneously decided to equip the village with this important work to ensure the greatest possible safety. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for within the year. The work is already underway. The landing area will be marked out soon, one of the last phases of the project. The platform is being built in the Pip area of the village, in an area owned by the Municipality of Laconi. T o obtain all the information necessary for the construction of an approved runway, the workers have worked in close collaboration with the helicopter rescue pilots but also with the Emergency Health Service.

Mayor Salvatore Argiolas: "This is a praiseworthy initiative, a way to ensure greater safety in the event of an emergency. Knowing that a helicopter can land here in Laconi at any time can only make us happy. It will certainly be an important work for the entire community, precious instead because it was born thanks to the generosity of many citizens who have made their economic resources available."
