A construction company in Golfo Aranci has been suspended following "serious" workplace safety violations. The measure was triggered by an inspection conducted on January 13 by the Carabinieri of the Olbia Territorial Unit, with the support of the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate Unit of Sassari.

During the inspection of the construction site, currently underway in the town, serious deficiencies in worker safety measures were discovered—as stated in a Carabinieri statement. Specifically, the site lacked adequate protection against the risk of falling from heights.

Following the investigation, the legal representative of the company carrying out the work was charged , and the company was subject to significant administrative sanctions, in addition to suspension of its operations.
