Not only is La Pelosa beach in Stintino inundated with tourists, but, as is often the case with every season, it's also plagued by fake booking websites. These scam websites are usually foreign and present themselves with a simple booking system, but in reality they sell the daily ticket set by the Municipality of Stintino at almost ten times the actual price.

30 euros instead of 3.50 euros is the correct rate appearing on the official portal spiaggialapelosa.it, managed by the Vosma cooperative on behalf of the Municipality and expressly indicated as "the only site authorised to sell reservations for La Pelosa".

Reservations are required from May 15th to October 15th, with a maximum of 1,500 daily admissions: 500 spots can be booked well in advance, and 1,000 open just 48 hours in advance. On one of the most sought-after beaches in the world, many attempt to profit through illicit schemes , faced with constant demand for spots that sell out within two minutes of bookings opening. The first 500 spots available in advance are sold out on the splendid beach until the end of August.
