Eight tons of waste were recovered from the seabed of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. The seabed of the island of Spargi, Maddalena and Caprera were affected by the operations. Over a hundred tires, 3 resin boats and dinghies, 7 outboard motors, shopping trolleys, chains, batteries, iron, glass, cans were recovered and then sent to the municipal landfill by the in-house company Maddalena Ambiente. , plastic etc.

The operations took place with the collaboration of the Barracellare Company and the local Civil Protection and under the supervision of the patrol boats of the Coast Guard and the Financial Police. The interventions of some private companies and diving companies were important, making their resources available. But the work of the volunteers of "An archipelago without plastic" and of the institutions does not stop here; in fact there is a new cleaning operation planned, scheduled for May 18th.
