Three minority councilors out of five - Annalisa Gulino, Alberto Mureddu and Rosanna Giudice - criticize the President of the Region, Christian Solinas, at the end of the government mandate (last September 7) which saw him as extraordinary commissioner for reclamation works for three years environmental and regeneration of the former Moneta Navy Arsenal.

«Three years of absolute nothingness», they write, «three years waiting for the assignment to expire, three years of which the only noteworthy action is the stop at the start of the reclamation works in the Arsenale, by the winning company. A block motivated by the need to modify a project, according to the Region, made with techniques that are now outdated, already subjected to the scrutiny of all environmental assessments, and thus effectively putting a tombstone on that reclamation."

A topic, this one of the former Arsenale, which was supposed to host the G8 which was then diverted to L'Aquila, always kept hot by the opposition. A site in which «there are structures and spaces for shipbuilding, unique in their kind like few others present in Sardinia».

Being able to unblock the reclamations, carry them out and give impetus to new activities on that site, observe Gulino, Mureddu and Giudice, «would represent an incredible opportunity for work and employment for many young people who, without any prospects for years, have left the island in search of of work, an island that risks halving the number of inhabitants in just a few years."
