Starting today, GP Paolo Angius is also retiring and his patients will join the ranks of those in La Maddalena who have been without them for a long time, for a total of over 2600 people.
A critical situation destined to worsen given that another doctor will soon retire. However, the ASL Gallura is taking action, informing that it will also guarantee in December the Extraordinary Community Territorial Clinic service (Ascot) reserved for users who do not have a General Practitioner. Patients, including those of Dr. Paolo Angius, will in fact be able to take advantage of the services of two retired doctors, Michele Demontis and Carlo Randaccio.
The service, informs the ASL, «is guaranteed from Monday to Friday in the Community House in Padule: it will be carried out by Dr. Demontis on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.15 to 12.15 and by Dr. Randaccio from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 12.00. To book the visit, you must call the number 0789 791296 from 8.00 to 9.00 and from 12.00 to 14.00. Patients must provide the doctor on duty with any documentation certifying pathologies that require drugs or specific treatments. Only and exclusively patients who have made the reservation will be examined».
