Two Korian healthcare facilities committed to promoting women's health have received further recognition. Fondazione Onda ETS, a national promoter of gender-specific medicine for twenty years, has also awarded the Bollino Rosa (Pink Seal) for the 2026-2027 two-year period to Casa di Cura Sant'Elena in Quartu (which received two Bollino Rosa awards) and Casa di Cura San Salvatore (Cagliari), which received one Bollino Rosa .
"The Pink Seal," according to a press release, "is a biennial recognition that the Onda ETS Foundation has awarded since 2007 to hospitals that offer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment services not only for specific women's health issues, but also for diseases that affect both men and women, for which they develop gender-sensitive hospital programs. Awarded hospitals become part of a virtuous and institutionally recognized network that promotes access to awareness-raising initiatives and dedicated programs, with the aim of promoting a culture of health based on awareness and proximity."
"The work done in these 12 editions of the Bollino Rosa," emphasizes Francesca Merzagora, President of the Onda ETS Foundation , "is important for renewing our focus on women's health. This expansion of the network highlights our twenty-year and daily commitment: our mission is to encourage hospitals to adopt an approach that is attentive to the specific needs of women of all ages and to encourage women to access the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment options offered by the network's hospitals. We believe that fostering knowledge and developing awareness," adds Francesca Merzagora, are crucial steps in protecting one's health and making informed choices to preserve it. For this reason, over the years we have organized numerous initiatives and projects designed to disseminate information and promote a gender-specific health culture at all levels, and above all, to make women's health a shared and well-supported priority.
The recognition awarded to the Korian facilities in Cagliari confirms the Group's commitment to making personalized, multidisciplinary care accessible, with a concrete focus on prevention and women's health . "Membership in the Bollino Rosa network," the press release continues, "will allow participation in the national initiatives promoted by the Onda ETS Foundation, such as (H) Open Days, (H) Open Weekends, and (H) Open Weeks, which offer free clinical, informational, and orientation services to the public."
"The Pink Label award for our Cagliari facilities," comments Laura Cinus, Management Director of Korian Sardinia Nursing Homes , "confirms Korian's commitment to promoting a vision of care that values diversity, listens to people's needs, and promotes access to dedicated services. For us, women's health represents a concrete commitment: a path built every day through proximity, responsibility, and networking."
