Attempted extortion , robbery and exploitation of prostitution : these are the charges against a man of foreign origin stopped on the night of January 25th in Sassari by state police officers.

A transsexual prostitute reported it, who turned to the men at the police station.

The woman said how the evening before the complaint she had been reached in the place where she used to prostitute herself by the man, who after kicking and punching her stole her purse with her identity card, health card and permit. of residence , threatening not to return her documents if the woman did not pay him the sum of 300 euros in cash.

From the investigations conducted by the police, it emerged that the victim was forced to pay him the sum every week as payment for a room to sleep in and the authorization to prostitute herself . The police also found out how the woman was forced to hand over additional sums of money calculated in proportion to the number of daily services . What unleashed the man's anger was his refusal to continue with this life.

The police then went to the man's house where they found one of the victim's documents and a plane ticket to Spain valid for the following morning.

Considering the seriousness of the facts and the danger of escape, the officers therefore stopped the man, who was then taken to the local prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
