As the stage for Jovanotti's concert on August 7th begins to take shape at the Olbia Arena, Olbia receives a mayoral ordinance "introducing specific requirements to ensure safety, urban decorum, and orderly management of crowds."

The measure—which will be in effect from 3:00 PM on August 7th to 6:00 AM on August 8th and will be enforced within 500 meters of the event site—includes a ban on the sale of alcohol above 5% ABV, both for consumption and for serving and selling, both fixed and mobile. It also prohibits the use of glass, cans, and Tetra cartons: takeaway drinks must be served exclusively in paper or compostable cups.

"These measures are necessary to ensure that a large event like the Jova Summer Party takes place in a peaceful and safe atmosphere," reads a press release from the Municipality of Olbia. "The large influx of people requires maximum attention: limiting the use of glass, cans, and high-proof alcohol means preventing risks, protecting public safety, and ensuring an orderly and welcoming image of our city. Olbia is ready to host a day of celebration, music, and fun, always respecting the rules and the common good."

After Vasco Rossi's double date on June 12th and 13th, the Olbia Arena is preparing to host the concert that will kick off the Jova Summer Party. The event was initially scheduled for the Padrongianus Park and then moved to Olbia's industrial area, a location that has been successfully tested by other events, including Red Valley, which has been at the Olbia Arena since 2022.

For Lorenzo Cherubini, this is also a return: the Roman singer had already brought the “Jova Beach Party” to Olbia in the summer of 2019.
