The new municipal stadium in Ittiri, named "Vittorio Caria," was inaugurated this afternoon, Sunday, November 2nd. This sports facility has been returned to sports clubs, who will be able to enjoy a functional and safe playing area.
The ribbon was cut by Mayor Antonio Sau and representatives of the football clubs, during the match between ASD Ittiri and San Paolo Sassari, in the presence of many fans and citizens who attended and applauded the inauguration of the facility.
After the natural grass surface has been transformed into synthetic grass, a functional and vitally important playing field for the community will once again be available.
This is another step in the ongoing Sports Citadel project, which began earlier and is currently underway. The goal is to redevelop the facilities and provide services to the many local businesses, which are continually growing in the municipality of Ittiri—one of the goals of the SAU administration.
