On the energy transition, the Municipality of Isili joins forces with Genoni and Nurallao: they have appealed to the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) against the "Isili 2" photovoltaic plant.

The city council recently unanimously approved filing a lawsuit challenging the Ministerial Decree authorizing construction of a mega-plant with a capacity of over 33 MWp.

"These projects were planned from above," said Isili Mayor Luca Pilia. "We are ready to defend our territory together with the surrounding communities."

The goal is to obtain the annulment, subject to emergency suspension, of the ministerial decree issued last May by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security.

The "Isili2" project includes a ground-mounted photovoltaic system complete with storage systems and related grid connection, proposed by VenSar Srl. But the Isili community won't act alone; the opposition is shared and coordinated with the Genoni and Nurallao administrations.

"We are faced with yet another top-down project," the administrations reiterated. "The value of the energy transition is not being contested, but this cannot happen at the expense of communities and territorial planning."

A firm position therefore supported by defects of legitimacy, investigative shortcomings and technical observations that will be brought before the TAR.
