Structural investigations and load tests for safety improvements to the Lorana Bridge . To allow for the technical inspections, on Friday, June 19, the Province of Nuoro issued an order temporarily closing Provincial Road 45 to traffic in the section affected by the bridge, at kilometer 10+700, in the Orune area.

The traffic ban will be in effect from 9am to 6pm.

The activities, entrusted to a specialized company appointed by the provincial authority, are part of the planning of the interventions necessary to ensure the safety of the structure. The load tests and surveys will allow for the acquisition of essential data and information to assess the condition of the bridge and define the works to be scheduled for the coming months. Throughout the duration of the operations, traffic on the Lorana Bridge will be completely closed. Access will, however, be guaranteed on the sections of Provincial Road 45 preceding the bridge, both from the Marreri and Sologo sides.

For alternative travel, the Province indicates state road 131 dcn as the alternative route .
