Bipartisan solidarity from the mayoral candidates for the Municipality of Porto Torres and the mayors of the municipalities in the Metropolitan City of Sassari for Mayor Massimo Mulas, who has been attacked for offensive phrases appearing on the facade of the town hall.

This morning, insulting graffiti targeting the mayor appeared on the walls of the town hall, near the entrance to the building in Piazza Umberto I. This is a criminal offense that is being investigated by DIGOS officers, who have acquired footage from the town hall's video surveillance cameras to try to pinpoint the culprit.

The videos show a hooded man approaching the wall with a spray can to paint the black writing. Messages of solidarity have poured in from all sides, including the mayoral candidates competing in Porto Torres, starting with Ivan Cermelli from the center-right, Sara Dettori, who leads the civic identity movement, and Loredana De Marco for Porto Torres C'è. The toxic atmosphere that is escalating just days before the elections risks triggering a cycle of conflict and critical incidents.
