The meeting will be open to all enthusiasts, with participants - upon registration - who can sign up for the blue group for new interested parties, or the red group which will be reserved for those who have already started their genealogical research but with the desire to delve deeper.

A unique opportunity for anyone who wishes to delve deeper into their family origins. The day will be divided into two parts: in the morning there will be specific theoretical lessons for each group; while in the afternoon there will be practical workshops led by experts in the field.

At the end of the day, the presentation of the book “Il peso della galena” by Laura Lanza, accompanied by Maria Rita Piras and the music of the Ischerios civic school. At the meeting, as mentioned, there will be experts in the field as speakers: archivists Monica Sala and Danilo Casiddu, Mario Antioco Sanna researcher, Michele Ruda president of the Sardinia section of the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, Francesco Castelli lawyer and the doctor in Cultural Heritage Sciences, Gabriele Nicelli.

The project was funded by Italea, a program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which promotes tourism of the roots and the European Union.

"The project - say Elisa Melis and Valentina Vincis - was born last July after a phone call with the Mayor of Uri, Matteo Dettori. We immediately found a harmony thanks to the common goals. It was four months of great work and commitment to be able to take care of everything down to the smallest detail. We are truly proud that our little project, which began with a small Facebook group, is increasingly becoming a reality in our territory. We hope that the numerous participants appreciate the initiative. Genealogy is a journey through time to rediscover the traditions, customs and stories of one's family".
