The new CAT scan at the San Camillo Hospital in Sorgono went into operation this morning. For the construction sites, which will last about two months, 151,000 euros of Pnrr funds will be used to install the "Toshiba Revolution" machine and renovate the premises dedicated to the service.

Satisfied citizens who, in these hours have benefited from the first tests, continued also in these weeks, thanks to a mobile device in the courtyard of the garrison.

Drawing a positive balance, the Strategic Management Asl 3 specifies: «San Camillo will have a high-performance device, which will be a reference for the whole Barbagia-Mandrolisai but also for those who will arrive from beyond the territory».

He then added: «The work was carried out efficiently, without causing any inconvenience to citizens who, thanks to the mobile device, carried out the tests continuously».

The mayor of Sorgono, Franco Zedde, also looks favorably on "a valuable service that will allow us to protect the right to health in the internal areas, avoiding long journeys for the population".
