It is called "Via del Comune" in Santa Teresa Gallura the road that does not exist , fictitious, but which is conventionally indicated as necessary for the registration of homeless people.

The decision was recently taken by the City Council which established precisely "to provide, for the registration of homeless people who meet the requirements established by the regulations, for the establishment of a conventional and territorially non-territorial municipal traffic area to be reported in the following denomination: Via del Comune ».

Persons who do not have their habitual residence in the Municipality of Santa Teresa Gallura - without fixed abode - in order to be registered in the Registry Office must in fact elect a "real domicile" by means of a written application/declaration , addressed to the Registry Officer, containing the elements necessary for carrying out the checks aimed at establishing the effective existence of the domicile.

In the physically non-existent "Via del Comune" both the homeless and the homeless who, in the absence of an elected (real) domicile, are domiciled in the Municipality will be registered and certified.
