Impressive waterspout in Sardinia
The phenomenon in front of the Badesi coast: it discharged its power into the water and did not reach the mainlandAn impressive waterspout formed this morning off the coast of Badesi , in Gallura.
Before the eyes of the concerned witnesses – many have filmed the phenomenon with their smartphones – a gigantic funnel cloud formed at the base of a cumulonimbus cloud which reached the surface of the water: the strong winds lifted and pulverized it, forming a cloud of water droplets rotating at high speed.
Fortunately, the powerful phenomenon released all its force on the sea , not reaching the mainland, where it could have turned into a tornado.
