During the night, the personnel of the Arbatax Coast Guard intervened 25 miles east of the port for the rescue requested by the ferry Cruise Smeralda , flying the Italian flag, sailing from the port of Civitavecchia in the Tyrrhenian Sea, for the medical evacuation of a Tunisian passenger in respiratory failure.
