He attacked his partner, at the end of a fight at home. This is the reason that led the Carabinieri to arrest a fifty-two-year-old bricklayer from Iglesias, already known to the police, for mistreatment in the family. The episode occurred in a house in the historic center last night, with the timely intervention of two patrols from the Iglesias and Domusnovas stations after the alarm was raised by some neighbors, who had heard screams.

According to an initial reconstruction, the arrested man violently pushed his partner down the stairs at home, at the end of an argument (not the first). The victim, aged 40, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the emergency room . During their intervention, the carabinieri found her visibly tired and in pain, lying at the foot of an internal staircase.

The military immediately identified and stopped the companion, clearly reconstructing the dynamics. Hence the arrest and transport to prison in Uta , at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari which coordinates the investigations.
