However, Sogaer gives a different explanation : «The wing de-icing mechanism at Elmas is foreseen and is very sophisticated», the press office announced: «The service has always been in operation up until a few days ago when a problem arose technical type which made it necessary to suspend it pending certain investigations, communicated well in advance to the various airlines.
