The autopsy performed on the body of Filippo Vidili, 50 years old, killed on Friday during a hunting trip in the countryside of Sedilo, was completed this afternoon at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.

According to what emerged during the examination, carried out by the coroner Roberto Demontis, it was a single gunshot that was fatal for the 50-year-old resident of Bosa, but originally from Oristano. A direct hit (a single bullet) that would have wounded Vidili in the lower abdomen.

From initial findings, it appears that it had a powerful penetrating force, which suggests that the shot was fired at a distance of approximately 40/60 metres.

Ballistic tests will now have to be carried out on the weapons, comparisons between the bullet that hit the shooter and the others found in the area where the accident occurred.

The investigations, coordinated by the prosecutor Silvia Mascia, continue. Marco Solinas (brother of the former regional president Christian Solinas), defended by the lawyer Gian Mario Fattacciu, is under investigation for manslaughter ; Vidili's wife is assisted by the lawyer Gianluigi Mastio while the father, brother and sister are protected by Mario Gusi.
