The emergency room at the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari will remain open.

"No closure is planned," Health Councilor Armando Bartolazzi stated clearly, responding to a question presented by Reform Party leader Umberto Ticca in the Regional Council.

"The department is aware of the difficulties facing the Santissima Trinità in Cagliari and is constantly engaged in planning resources to implement the necessary interventions, with particular attention to the use and monitoring of EU, state, and municipal funds," he said.

With specific reference to the Santissima, "the already funded interventions have been restructured to allow the initial priority works to begin. At the same time, the Regional Council is allocating additional resources to implement the interventions identified in detail by Local Health Authority 8 after specific assessments, through a proposed resolution soon to be presented.
