Tonino Pirastru knew well the person driving the van that hit him and killed him: he had argued with the driver of the commercial vehicle and, according to rumors, the two had also reported each other. Furthermore, the dynamics of the fatal accident that occurred in Porto Cervo presents anomalies that need to be clarified.

The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has opened a thorough investigation into the episode which cost the life of Pirastru, 76 years old, and the person who caused the accident, a 50 year old man from Sassari , was summoned to be heard by the Olbia Traffic Police in the presence of his defenders, the lawyers Giancarlo Frongia and Domenica Gala . During the interview , however, the man chose not to answer the investigators' questions.

It must be said immediately that at this moment there are no measures (arrest or detention) or complaints that impose the most serious measures.

The fact is that between the victim and the person reported by Polstrada there was a situation of strong tension due, apparently, to a dispute over a border .

All data still to be verified, these are hypotheses. But it is certain that there is a criminal complaint regarding the case.

The investigations, as mentioned, are ongoing and, after receiving the Stradale report, the Prosecutor's Office is evaluating the 50-year-old's position, which could worsen in the next few hours.

The first formal actions of the prosecutor against the suspect are expected on Thursday.
