Hikers in difficulty in the Supramonte, the rescue of the Alpine Rescue

The intervention for the recovery of four hikers in difficulty in the Supramonte of Dorgali ended late yesterday evening , shortly after 22:30.

The alarm went off at 16:20 , with a call to the operations center of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue of Sardinia. Great fear for four French hikers, two adults, a child and a girl , who, having started from the parking lot of S'Abba Barva, in the municipality of Dorgali to reach the Gorroppu canyon, had lost their orientation and found themselves in difficulty. Fortunately, they were located in a point with telephone reception, and therefore it was possible to locate them precisely.

After the alarm, 2 technicians left immediately from the Nuoro station, assisted by two other members of the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza who, having reached the hikers, after checking their health conditions, accompanied them back to the cars .
