Hiker in difficulty in Villacidro, the Alpine Rescue intervenes

Mountain rescue at work, yesterday evening, to rescue a climber in difficulty near the Rio Coxinas dam, in Villacidro .

The alarm went off shortly after 19 , and a dozen technicians from the Cagliari, Iglesias and Medio Campidano stations immediately intervened on the spot.

The climber, a 37-year-old resident of Milan , slipped and suffered a suspected fracture in his leg . Reached, he was stabilized and, placed on a stretcher, was transported with the sedan technique to the road, where the LIVAS ambulance of Gonnosfanadiga was waiting for him.

The recovery , due to the particularly difficult terrain where the accident occurred, was particularly difficult .
