Highway 131 crash near Monastir: four cars involved, one child seriously injured

A serious road accident occurred a few minutes ago on Viale Monastir, on state highway 131 at the Cagliari exit.
Four cars were involved in the violent impact, one of which overturned.
According to initial reports, six people were injured, including four children. All the minors were rushed to Brotzu Hospital. One of them is in critical condition, with severe spinal and abdominal trauma.
The adults involved were transferred to the Policlinico Hospital and the Santissima Trinità Hospital. 118 ambulances and law enforcement are on site, securing the area and conducting surveys to reconstruct the accident. Traffic in the area has been severely impacted.
