The Carabinieri conducted a high-impact operation Thursday evening in Sassari. The force targeted their checks in the historic center, conducting a series of checks alongside the State Police, the Guardia di Finanza, and local police.
Focus especially on the lower part of Sassari Vecchia, between the train station area, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Porta Sant'Antonio, Piazza Tola, Via La Marmora and Via San Donato.
The Carabinieri identified 38 people, and 25 vehicles were thoroughly checked at the five roadblocks. Overall, the operation led to the identification of approximately 250 people and the inspecting of approximately fifty vehicles, as well as the reporting of one person to the judicial authorities.
