Heavy rain in Carbonia: roads flooded and vehicles blocked.

A heavy downpour hit Carbonia this morning. Flooded roads caused significant traffic disruption, particularly in the usual flood-prone areas.

Among the hardest-hit areas were the centrally located Via Roma and Via Cagliari, where a van got stuck in the middle of the road . Numerous calls were made to the emergency number, and the fire department and civil defense responded.

The municipality of Carbonia also reported this phenomenon, for which the Civil Protection Department had not issued an alert. In the meantime, the COC, the municipal operations center, has been activated to coordinate the necessary interventions to address the critical issues.
