The new Asl still "non-operational", a confrontation with the new councilor Doria still "inexplicably stopped", while all the problems of Sardinian health, far from being resolved, are getting worse.

Unions on a war footing again, because the Giunta still "has not respected the commitments made" after the great demonstration of last October 22nd .

"Unfortunately, the dramas and the many negativities of Sardinian health have not stopped, worsening in all territories and sectors, both with respect to the theme of emergencies and that of the new programming ", reads a statement from the CISL which threatens to restart mobilization immediately if the Region does not start that promised confrontation after last October's demonstration.

The new Local Health Authorities " are far from being truly operational and efficient ", while the strengthening of the workforce "is not yet adequate" and " the shortcomings in the medical sector in various functions " are still very present.

In short, "there is no need for impromptu and inconclusive initiatives, or spot announcements, there is a need for concrete answers", complains the union.

Compared to all the problems that led to the great demonstration in October, the picture is even "worse" .

"Every day we witness a new drama in the preventive and specialist care system, with the aggravating circumstance of paradoxical and poorly managed situations that have brought Sardinian healthcare to the national limelight in negative terms ".

What's more, the CISL concludes, the confrontation "which was supposed to start immediately after the demonstration is still at a standstill" is missing. If the "table on Sardinian healthcare" is not opened immediately, the unions are ready to take to the streets again .
